I'm sure you done your share of sighing over men. Hanson, anyone?

Hey now, they were a great group. How many bands that consisted of a 16 yr. old, a 14 yr. old and an 11 yr. old who wrote their own music and played their own instruments did you know of? Plus they had good, decent music :)

*gagging*, nope. Sorry, LaDonna, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one. Ugh, I hated Hanson with a passion. And I never understood those girls who plastered pictures of them all over their binders. Who wants to look at three guys with shoulder length hair all day?

Last I heard, Mindy was OK with shoulder-length hair...

Yeah, I've been trying to convince Joel to sing MMMBop, but he's not crazy about the idea.

Lol, Mandy, in 8th grade I was one of those girls. My binder was covered, my room was wall-papered w/ about 350 posters and I stood in line for 6 hours to meet them ;)

Wow.

I could understand if it was Kelly Clarkson though.

BTW - What do you guys think of the advertising on Bebo?

Haha, Bry, no need to remind us of your infatuation with Kelly Clarkson. We already know about the purely physical attraction you have to her. With that said, the advertising on bebo happens to be very annoying. I'm tired of seeing all of the personals of women dressed in next to nothing with a seductive look on their face. If they must have advertisements, wouldn't it be nice if it was just regular stores?

If you object to their advertising, why use their site?

because the rest of the site rocks

Yeah not exactly thrilled with their advertisements myself. It would be nice if they didn't have any at all.

Chris, I didn't think you even used Bebo...when was the last time you were on there = )

Without advertising, there would be no Bebo. It's why it's free.

They tried to use fat models with looks of constipation on their faces, but that angle just didn't work. Looks like they found their niche.

I haven't been on Bebo in a while. Their ads offend me, and I'm not going to support an organization that uses sexually-based advertising as the almost sole means of paying for their service.

There's got to be a Bebo clone out there that doesn't stoop to the level of debauchery that I see on Bebo. When I find it, I'll let you know.

I think Xianz has some potential as a Christian replacement. What do you think?

Ok so I just visited this new website and it looks like it could be good. Not sure how much you looked into it, but it looks like there's a section where you can "create a group" which maybe we could create for the AF Young People??

Haven't looked much at it, but I'll do some more digging. I'm sure the advertising doesn't *just* offend the AF guys that use Bebo, so if we could spearhead a mass move over to Xianz I think that would be a great idea.
